Been desperately anticipating new music ever since "Bones." That it's finally arrived is almost surreal. While more reminiscent of their earlier material I'm no less overjoyed, and deeply hopeful this is a portent of a new record

The most austere Russian Circles release yet. But in restraint these tracks find new levels of heavy. Nowhere is this more evident than the closing of the third track, "Gnosis". That shit is savage. Absolutely primal. rettisawesome
This DC shoegaze group work like fog, bringing in ephemeral melodic layers that swirl together to become something surprisingly heavy. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2018

Sometimes, I find my listening to Post-Rock that is overly depressing sounding, and its good to balance that out with records that are more "lighter" sounding. It just lifts me up so much! I love how hopeful this record feels to me. veritas_seeker
